Torah Dedication Ceremony
In Loving Memory and Eternal Commemoration of Our Beloved Ones, Taken from Us Too Soon:
Staff Sergeant (Res.) Tomer Dolev z”l –
Raised in Ashkelon. At the outbreak of the “Iron Swords” War, while vacationing in Sinai, Tomer returned immediately and joined his reserve unit, Battalion 7109, in the Home Front Command’s Daniel Brigade.
Tomer fell in battle near Netiv HaAsara on October 8, 2023, at the age of 34.
He is mourned by his parents and five siblings.
Yonatan Hajbi z”l –
Raised in Alfei Menashe and Moshav Yakhini. He was about to enlist in the IDF and worked at the family’s dairy farm.
Yonatan was murdered during the terrorist infiltration into Moshav Yakhini on the morning of October 7, 2023, while at his grandparents’ home.
He was 18 years old. He is mourned by his parents and four siblings.
Sergeant First Class Eyal Gueta z”l –
Raised in Kfar Yona. On his 21st birthday, August 17, 1999, an IDF patrol encountered a Hezbollah terrorist cell in southern Lebanon.
Eyal was called in to assist, and heroically evacuated two wounded soldiers by helicopter.
After the evacuation, he prepared with his unit to continue the battle, where he was killed in action.
He is mourned by his parents and six siblings.
Staff Sergeant Dotan Barak z”l –
Raised in Bnei Yehuda, in the southern Golan Heights. Dotan served in the Golani Brigade’s 13th Battalion.
On August 27, 1995, during a routine patrol along the northern border road, he was killed in an operational accident.
He was 20 years old. He is mourned by his parents and two brothers.
