*UPDATE*

We are truly overwhelmed by the kindness and generosity we've received in such a short time. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your support, thoughts, and prayers. Your generosity is making a real difference, ensuring Dalia has the best possible options during this challenging time and giving the baby the care and comfort they deserve. Please know that every effort is being made to provide the best for both Dalia and the baby. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

___

Dalia & Max (both 38) and their son, Meir (2.5) are expecting baby #2. Dalia is originally from Venezuela, and came to Israel more than 15 years ago, while Max is originally from Guatemala and has been in Israel for the past 10 years. They met at a fateful Shabat dinner organized for young and single Latin people living in Israel and after 2 years of dating, decided to move in together and get married. In 2022 Dalia gave birth to their light and blessing, Meir, and now Dalia is pregnant with their second baby.

Two months ago, Dalia started feeling very weak, with lots of pain and small bumps started to appear in her abdomen and shoulders. After a few weeks, a biopsy determined she had developed Melanoma. A week later, the doctors determined that unfortunately, the cancer has spread to several key organs like her brain and liver. We aren't sure what her timelines are, and are hoping for a miracle. In the meantime, we need to keep Dalia alive in order to keep baby alive. We hope that by week 28-30 (currently on week 26), she'll be able to be induced to save the baby.

Please help us raise funds for them during this extremely difficult time. The funds will go to supporting Meir and paying for any medical costs not covered by the National Insurance system, involved in treating the cancer and keeping the baby alive. They will also be used to provide for formula and diapers once the baby is able to come out of the hospital.

We cannot thank you enough for your help!
