Established in memory of Sgt. David Moshe Ben Shitrit, may his memory be a blessing, a solider in the Navy who fell while defending the northern border on August 25, 2024.
Donations are being raised to fund all activities of the project, starting with the writing of a Sefer Torah and the establishment of a memorial structure, purchasing equipment, and maintaining the building which will serve as a center for team-building days, memorial ceremonies, and a welcoming space for soldiers.
The goal of the project is to preserve and impart the values of David Moshe, may his memory be a blessing, to children of all ages, youth before enlistment, and soldiers serving in the IDF.
Values such as: courage, giving, rebirth, overcoming life's challenges, perseverance, Zionism, love for people and the land, and meaningful service to the state.
It will host educational programs for school children and meetings to promote youth. The aim is to instill values of courage, leadership, commitment to the mission, and striving for victory.
The building will include a memory room displaying photographs, memorabilia, and life stories of the fallen from the community.
We are working in collaboration with the Keren Adam. All donations are tax-deductible under Section 46 for charitable donations.
