Since October 7th we have initatied a grassroots neighborhood watch team combined with volunteer residents and our community center. Our volunteers patrol the streets daily, working with the police to ensure the safety of every resident, family and child. Since starting our patrols, we have seen a decrease in crime and robberies. However, we are not equipped with the proper uniform and supplies to ensure our team's own safe measures when patrolling.

This campaign will raise funds and awareness to increase volunteers and security for them. The campaign funds will be used to purchase proper uniforms, equipment and safety gear for each volunteer. Please support our community and neighborhood with a donation. The neighborhood watch team is 100% volunteer.

All Money raised from "Campaign rewards" will be used to purchese gear for our unit. Our Goal is to raise over 10,000 NIS to purchase items need for our potroals. 

Keeping Jerusalem’s Armon Hanatziv/Arnona Border Neighborhood Safe

On October 7th thousands of terrorists infiltrated southern Israeli communities bordering Gaza. Within a few hours they viciously murdered over 1,400 Israelis. The first responders to defend the Gaza perimeter communities were the local Civilian Rapid Response Teams, whose members fought bravely and sacrificed their lives to defend their communities. 

The horrific terror highlighted the need to establish Armed Civil Neighborhood Guard Teams throughout Israel. The Armon Hanatziv/Arnona neighborhood of Southern Jerusalem is surrounded by five Arab villages. These villages are heavily influenced by Hamas, including residents that have committed terrorist attacks and violence. Most recently a pair of brothers shot and killed four civilians at a Jerusalem bus stop, this past November. 

The Armon Hanatziv/Arnona residents, in partnership with the Israeli Police and local Community Council, have established a volunteer Armed Civil Neighborhood Guard unit. The volunteers are committed to preserving the safety and protection of our community, children and families

The volunteer members have undergone training and provide active surveillance shifts on an ongoing basis. However, with a limited budget, the first responders do not have the vital equipment, protective combat gear and emergency tools, to protect themselves in a time of emergency.
