Bright Horizon Foundation was established by combat veterans from elite special forces units, driven by a deep understanding of the unique challenges and personal sacrifices that come with military service.

In the aftermath of the October 7th attacks and the atrocities that followed, it became clear to us that we had a responsibility to act and provide dedicated support to Israel’s combat soldiers, particularly those who served in special operations units and risk their lives to protect our nation.

The Bright Horizon Project is dedicated to supporting veterans of elite special forces units, regardless of whether they have received official physical or psychological recognition from government authorities. We believe that every combat veteran deserves access to support, guidance, and a caring community, regardless of their official status.

Our mission is to address the physical, emotional, family, and social challenges that often accompany military service and the transition back to civilian life.

Through a wide range of programs, activities, and services, we work to strengthen the personal, family, and community resilience of our veterans, including:

• Mental health support and PTSD trauma treatment
• Physical rehabilitation and wellness services
• Community-building projects and resilience-focused activities
• Retreats and renewal programs in Israel and abroad
• Support and guidance for the entire family unit
• Career counseling and assistance with the transition to civilian life

Over the past year, the events of October 7th and their lasting impact have only strengthened our commitment to dedicating our lives to supporting Israel’s combat veterans and members of its special operations community.
