Dear Partners on This Journey,

On October 7th, countless lives changed in an instant. Among the many survivors of the Nova tragedy, there are still many young people searching for their way back to routine, joy, and belive.

Over the past year anf half, I have volunteered at Nova community evenings, using a powerful tool I created—the Journey Card Set—which has proven to deeply resonate with their struggles and experiences.

After I witnessed dozens of therapeutic sessions, and over 200 hours of personal guidance, I have witnessed firsthand how powerful this tool can be. how these cards help survivors of the tragedy better understand themselves, identify obstacles, clear their minds, regain focus, and find their own path forward.

Your contribution will provide these young survivors with this meaningful tool to support their healing and personal recovery process.

Being part of this journey for Nova survivors through the tool I created is both an honor and a true calling for me.

 Our goal: To gift a Journey Card Set to every Nova survivor and the families of those who were lost.

The goal of this campaign is to provide a Journey Card Set to every Nova survivor and the families of those who were lost.

 (There are 3,810 survivors and families of victims—the more sets donated, the more survivors we can support together.)
Distribution will be coordinated with the Nova Association.

About the LIFE IS A JOURNEY Card Deck

The LIFE IS A JOURNEY card deck is designed to support individuals during moments of crisis, emotional difficulty, decision-making crossroads, or everyday life challenges.

Cards can be drawn with the intention of gaining guidance on a specific topic, at random, or by being drawn to a certain image. Each card can offer a message related to a situation, feeling, or real-life challenge.

On one side of each card is a projective image that bypasses the conscious mind and allows for indirect emotional expression.

The deck supports those embarking on a new life journey and touches on 43 core values such as flexibility, navigating uncertainty, belonging, confidence, letting go of control, inner freedom, faith, and more.

About Me – Sharon Asher

I am Sharon Asher, a 45-year-old single mother of six-year-old twins.
A designer, therapist, workshop facilitator, photographer, and creator of the LIFE IS A JOURNEY brand.

Behind every card in the LIFE IS A JOURNEY deck lies an entire life story.
For two decades, I traveled the world, collecting experiences, overcoming challenges, and learning lessons that no school could ever teach—life lessons.

My connection with the Nova community was immediate. I have been dancing at trance festivals for over 20 years—I felt that it could have easily been ME. I wanted to help and contribute, and from the very first moment, I felt like I had come home.

Through my encounters with Nova survivors, I witnessed how the cards took on a new and profound meaning.
I met young men and women in need of guidance, searching for ways to cope and rebuild their lives.
They brought with them a wide range of struggles—overwhelming thoughts, crises, and even the challenge of returning to a “normal” routine.
Through the cards, they were able to process emotions, recognize their inner strengths, and gain clarity in their journey forward.
I watched as the light returned to their eyes after interacting with the cards.
I witnessed moments that pushed people toward significant, life-changing decisions.I experienced sessions where the cards brought tears, deep emotions, and powerful realizations.

The cards are the perfect combination of what young people need—they comfort and protect, while also empowering and equipping them with practical tools for life’s journey.
