Lift your eyes - raise your voices
At Women of the Wall we refuse to look only at the grind of each day and the tarnished present. We invite you to lift your eyes, see beyond the present reality, and dare to imagine a better tomorrow.
Years before she was the founder and chairwoman of WOW, Anat Hoffman was a champion swimmer. Once, while training for a competition, her progress hit a wall. To help her breakthrough, her coach suggested using a new stopwatch—one that could measure thousandths of a second, not just hundredths. With this new vantage point, her progress was evident immediately.
“Success isn’t just about the end goal; it’s about the impact of every small victory along the way,” Anat explains.
This future is shaped in increments, by small actions and milliseconds of change.
Each Rosh Hodesh, our presence at the Kotel empowers women to lift their voices in song and prayer at this sacred site. Every time a woman approaches us to say she’s experienced a shift in her understanding of Judaism, we sense the progress happening, slowly but surely.
We will not be deterred by the present challenges.
Instead, we will persevere and pursue justice with tenacity and courage.
Join us by making a gift today.
Together, we can keep moving toward equality, one victory at a time.
Millisecond by millisecond.
