A grass roots group of men and women in Raanana, Israel needed a way to help those who are fighting for the saftey and security of our country. At the beginning of the war we were sending upwards of 1,000 meals per week. Now we concentrate on Shabbat meals, feeding 300-500 soldiers each week. The ingredients are mostly covered by the individuals. We provide the proteins through our fundraising efforts. Each week we spend about $2,000 on beef and chicken. We are hoping to raise another $25,000 to get us through the next three months at which time we hope our little group will no longer need to operate!
